Police seek identity of KKK promoters (08/22/06)
Storm Lake Police are still investigating an incident in which supposed members of the Ku Klux Klan were handing out promotional information in Storm Lake retail parking lots last week. Hospital gets clean bill of health for Medicare (08/22/06)
Buena Vista Regional Medical Center officials were pleased to learn that termination action against BVRMC's Medicare receipts has been rescinded. Confirmation was received Friday from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid that the hospital is now in compliance with the requirements of the Social Security Act. "Therefore, we are rescinding the termination action and the hospital's participation in the Medicare program will continue," the notice reported...
