Though the image of gods have changed through the ages of man, it is not at all uncommon from deep into prehistory to today for both sides in a war to declare that they are killing for God's sake and by God's will. Responsibility, what a scary word. As young children we are taught to take on such responsibilities as picking up our toys, getting along with other youngsters, not to step too close to the street and others what we had thought were unfair and ridiculous demands...
