He was not celebrating or partaking in the usual festivities that accompany St. Patrick's Day, Jim was celebrating because this was the day he would undergo bi-lateral knee replacement. Payton Rice of the Sioux Central Little Rebels has been selected to represent Team Iowa at the AAU National Elementary Duals in Kingsport, TN. National competition is April 24th and 25th, 2004.
