Suspicious package was legitimate (05/21/02)
Shortly after noon on Tuesday, May 21, the police department was called to the Planned Parenthood office at 720 Erie St. for a report of a suspicious package. The area was blocked off as a safety measure and North School was put on lock down. Police determined the package - an envelope containing a metal can - was indeed a legitimate package after locating the woman who left it there...
