'Never give up' (04/09/02)
When Mary Jo Naberhaus becomes an inside journeyman wireman this December, she will install conduits, put in electrical wires and use cable pullers to insert fixtures and grounding systems in many buildings around the greater Phoenix area. While her career involves connecting wires, Naberhaus will attempt to short circuit the offenses of opposing teams this fall, when she will begin playing football for the Arizona Knights of the Women's Professional Football League...
Girls softball tryouts, clinics scheduled (04/09/02)
Tryouts for the 14-and-under team will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. The 12-and-under tryouts will be from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the 10-and-under tryouts from 11 a.m. to noon. Ducks Unlimited Annual Banquet give away (04/09/02)
Marjorie and Ron Neulieb show off the Classic II grill given away at the Ducks Unlimited annual banquet held at the Knight of Columbus Hall Saturday. The winner was Mitch Lyman, Storm Lake. Over 125 people attended. The banquet was a major effort this year to increase participation in the group, which numbers 739,000 members worldwide, the largest private waterfowl and wetlands conservation organization. ...

Massive model railroad finds new home in Storm Lake Santa's Castle (04/09/02)
