For the past several years she has made her home at the Sioux Care Center in Sioux Rapids. A private family memorial service was held Friday, March 16, 2001, at the Fratzke Funeral Home in Storm Lake, with Rev. Tom Hinshaw of First Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Benberg's body has been deeded to the University of Iowa Hospital for medical research and her ashes will be buried in the Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date...
