We're all blessed with this amazing gift that has been, and continues to be, forged throughout our lives. I'm talking about our beautiful minds, and how we're not using them the way we should. We're all different, each and every one of us. At birth we all start fresh, memories, and how we react to anything and everything. What we seem to fail at, is acceptance for each other, and the fundamental respect we should have for our views.
We all have obstacles in life that present themselves to us each and every day. Some of us choose to walk around them, some, not face them at all. Then, we have the select few. The successful ones, who take on every obstacle, and grow from each encounter. If we tend to walk around, or not face them at all; then we're not using the proper software our minds demand of us. We already know we only use a fraction of what our brains are truly capable of, and if we're sabotaging ourselves with negative thinking, that fraction we do use is a shell of what it could be.
I'm challenging us all to stop, stop living lives where mediocrity is the status quo. We're all capable of being extraordinary, every single one of us. The first step, self reflect, just accept you're not the best version of yourself. The second step, design a plan of action, and start becoming the best version of yourself. The third, and final step, spread this mind set all over; and make strides to improve yourself, those around you, and your community.
This is about empowerment, and how a few simple steps can change your life and all the lives around you. So let's get out there, and encourage each other, and make it a point in 2017; that it's not about ourselves or some hidden agenda, it's about personal responsibility, and the practice of selflessness. We're all gifted, we're all amazing in our own way. It's overdue for us to realize this and do something about it.
Look yourself in the mirror, and own that you're great. Look at your children tonight, and own that they're the future, and it's on us to prepare them. Look at your community, and think of the ways you, and your family can promote civic responsibility. It's in us all to be great, after all, we're all blessed with a Beautiful Mind.
