After having tied the knot at the end of 2016, I can now say beyond all shadow of a doubt, that it was everything I’d hoped and prayed that it would be since childhood. I also dreamed of being a super hero and overtaking Gotham City when I was a child, but I was being unrealistic with that particular fantasy.
I think it’s important to write this column not to gloat (though I’ll be glad to), but to speak up for all of the couples that have also done things the right way. When people do marriage right, they don’t complain so much, and so their voices are silenced by the rabble of promiscuous charlatans, peddling their pathetic world view as “progressive.”
Our wedding was perfect. I know everybody says that their groom was the “most handsome in the world.” They’re wrong. I win.
Our wedding was truly a once in a lifetime event. It was an-honest celebration of two completely separate lives now becoming one. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually, everything that made us who we were individually was becoming what bonded us together.
My humor shall return in my next column, but I just wanted to share my good new this week. From now on, I get to spend every night with my best friend, my greatest fan, and my number one supporter. He makes each good day better, and each bad day good again. From now on, I get to live what is essentially a 24/7 sleepover party with my greatest friend I’ve ever had...
Now add sex and sandwiches.
Getting married is grand!
