Let's play fair, kids

Wow, could there be any more ridiculously, morbid national news?

It seems to me that once a story breaks, it just goes on and on and on.

How much more do we have to listen to about Conrad Murray and his involvement in Michael Jackson's death? The man was convicted... end of story.

How about Herman Cain and his traveling hands? Sooner or later the truth comes out, if you have those ghosts in your closet, best not to seek the highest seat in the country. It reminds me of the Tiger Woods episode. It started with one female telling her story and it continued one woman after another.

Joe Paterno continues to stay in the news, unfortunately it isn't because of his winning seasons at Penn State. His tenure has come to an abrupt halt, due to his knowledge of a fellow coach's disgusting antics. Sooner or later there again the truth comes out, another secret that wipes out a career, but there again the story broke, end of story please!

Let's hit back on the political race. We hear over and over how Rick Perry blunders debates, Mitt Romney at times seems to think that his good looks will win him the Republican nomination, Michele Bachmann... who, seems that she has gotten lost in the midst of all of the candidate slashing and yes blunders. Oh don't worry I wont leave out our President. It seems that we have elected an official who struggles with the fact that he seemingly cannot get anything passed through Congress without a major dramafest.

I have no favorite for the upcoming election, I could care less, could be because I am sick and tired of the political ads that started shortly following the last election.

It seems that all of the other news has been forgotten. What ever happened to the Baby Lisa story? Aren't there still military in Iraq and Afghanistan? I heard just a bit about Smokin' Joe Frazier's death, did you know Andy Rooney passed away too? Where is Lindsay Lohan, my goodness it seems that she has lost her seat on the top news spot. It seems to me that no matter what news program that you watch, the same stories, the same slanderous tidbits become major news that continues on to the point that we forget that more goes on within the confines of our beloved country and beyond.

I could only hope that sooner or later, hoping for sooner that we hear more positives than negatives and that those good news stories get the attention that it seems the negative ones get.
