Seriously miffed

Seriously!

We all have our little quirks and things that get on other's nerves, but seriously do people have to be so rude while pointing out another's shortcomings? I seriously think that if someone uses a word over and over that it shouldn't be thrown at them that they use it a lot. I can seriously think of other little quirks worth mentioning than a simple little word!

After a night at Grandma's house a certain little girl went home and repeated the word that apparently Grandma uses quite frequently and it seriously isn't even a swear word. I really do not know what the fuss was all about!

There are words in our vocabulary that are perfect for almost any conversation, and instead of searching for new words to use, it should be allowed to use a certain favored word in as many sentences as one wishes. I seriously think that there are worse things in life than repeating words. On a lighter note, it can be a source of humor. The other day I caught myself using my favored word of choice and brought it to my husband's attention. "Did I seriously use that word again?" I said with a chuckle.

I guess when a person has just minor faults that are pointed out to them, it could seriously be worse. It's better than getting singled out for major errors like picking your nose in public and eating your boogers, for example, or scratching your behind in front of everyone. Compares to that, a simple repeating of a certain word is seriously pretty petty! No need to get defensive about it, enjoy the laugh and accept your linguistic quirks and go on. I say if you seriously love something, hold on to it... what is the worst thing that seriously will happen to you? After all, a little chuckle, even at yourself, is better than no chuckle at all...

SERIOUSLY!
