I don't get it.....

I hope you had an enjoyable week. I talked to my mom last night on the phone. Earlier this week she was taken by ambulance to the hospital because the chemo treatments really took a toll on her. She was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow transplant about eight years ago and ever since has been kind of a guinea pig going through all these treatments and heavy drugs.

If she doesn't take the heavy drugs the disease progresses (we can not let it win!!!) but if she takes them she goes through some awful side effects! She is supposed to see a cardiologist being on these drugs for too long and they can affect her heart. :( I just want her to get better - for her body to be rid of this awful disease.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!! This morning already has been a little rough.... been trying to stay strong and not cry.
