I don't feel any older....

Well, another birthday has come and gone, the 46th one to be exact, and like a lot of the others before it, I just don't feel any different. I had occasion to tell a friend the other day that according to my timeline when I was 15 years old, I have now officially crested the summit and am on the hopefully long downhill slide. I figure that 90 years of age is good to shoot for, considering at one point I never even thought I'd make it to 40, and now look at me.

Stanley Cup update: Game 5 of the Cup Playoffs finals, and the Blackhawks finally looked like the team that a lot of people thought would romp through to hoist Sir Stanley's Cup. It begs to be seen which Blackhawks team shows up in game 6, as they seem to sometimes forget just what is at stake, and play like zombies. Sunday, they were flying all over the ice, winning fights over the puck and generally making the Philly goaltenders lives miserable, and they scored 7 goals because of it (1 was minus the goalie, to seal the game). I got my fingers crossed that at least one Chicago team can end their long drought.

I somehow managed to play 17 hours of a video game this weekend. I use a gaming site that can track how much time you've spent playing any particular game, and I was shocked at how much time I spent this weekend playing the game. Considering I had a friend visit on Friday night and was here until noon Saturday, then I spent an hour or more grilling, watched a whole hockey game on Sunday, I can only come to the conclusion that I played every other waking moment aside from smoke and bathroom breaks. And you thought teenagers were bad? Maybe I need to get some semblance of a life myself.
