Spring fever has hit

Today, it's mid 70's, with a breeze, and pretty blue skies. The snow has melted from the ground, and soon, hopefully from our remembrances as well. Thoughts of breaking out the golf clubs and hitting the links start swirling through my mind. The chirping of birds in the morning is a sweet second alarm clock to wake to. Fresh air blowing through the house, taking the claustrophobic feel of winter with it. Grass and trees turning green, pushing away the sleep and bleakness of winter, awaking all that has been in slumber the past 6 months.

I actually want to wake up now, knowing the sun will shine and with it comes warmth, growth and freshness that's been so absent during the long winter.
